Language Requirements

* Turkish: 

All international students enrolled in programs where the language of instruction includes Turkish are required to provide proof of Turkish language proficiency at a minimum C1 level, issued either by the Yunus Emre Institute or the FSMVU TÜMER Center. Students who are unable to provide such proof must attend a Turkish language preparatory course at the FSMVU TÜMER Center for up to one year.

* Arabic: 

The instruction language of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences and the Arabic Language Teaching program requires a mandatory one year of Arabic preparatory class. Before the preparatory class begins, the Arabic Preparatory Department will hold an Arabic Proficiency Test; candidates who receive a passing score can start the program directly.
